THE ALMOND BOARD OF CALIFORNIA IS…
a non-profit organization that represents California’s 7,600+ almond growers and 100+ processors. Our work supports ABC’s mission by turning research into craveable product applications, enabling their marketing and innovation team to showcase almonds as a platform for new product development across baking, snacking, dairy alternatives, and confections in both food service and retail.

“Fuels Our growth initiatives”
Hill’s Research Kitchen fuels ABC’s growth initiatives by translating almond innovation into market momentum. We have supported in over a dozen annual events including featured presenter at Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) National Conference, Nosh Live, Bridge2Food, BevNet, and have judged national student competitions. We have supported The Almond Board of California for over 5 years with services spanning spokesperson, featured event speaker, digital content creation, new product R&D, creative direction, concept innovation, product development consulting, and event operations.
PRODUCT CREATION
Working with the Almond Board of California, we create packaged food concept prototypes that are ready for commercial scale, they help bridge the gap between research, inspiration, and market ready innovation. Our work focuses on flavor delivery, scalability into manufacturing, textural performance, application versatility, and business potential, showcasing how almonds can unlock new formats across both consumer packaged goods and food service. These iterative prototypes became strategic tools for ABC’s innovation, marketing, and education teams.
